Some UM schools/programs have emergency funds or other types of financial assistance available to help cover family emergencies. Ask your school’s administration for any information.
 
 
Financial Resources for Child Care:
   
  The UM Work/Life Resource Center has information on: UM Child Care Subsidy Program, UM Tuition Grant Program, tax credits, Department of Human Services assistance, and Child Care Network Scholarships. In addition, they can assist students in finding affordable child care options.
   
UM Work/Life Resource Center
   
  The UM Child Care Subsidy Program, administered by the UM Office of Financial Aid, provides funds to students with children to assist in meeting the cost of licensed child care. The criteria for eligibility are listed.
